If you’ve ever wondered what holiday magic tastes like, the answer is: EPCOT during the Festival of the Holidays. Between cozy drinks, global comfort food, and an impressive number of cookies (we did the research, so you don’t have to), this festival is a must-do for food lovers visiting Walt Disney World during the most wonderful time of the year.

Here’s our honest, review of the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays menus—highlights, surprises, and the bites we’re still thinking about. 🍪 Cookie Lovers, This One’s for You

CommuniCore Hall

This is where cookie dreams come true.

Prototype Cookie

The "Prototype Cookie" is seriously good. It's a soft, rich, slightly dark chocolate cookie with a cool geometric pattern - not sure how they did it, Disney Magic obviously! It's chocolate-forward but has a little frosting and a surprising hint of orange that makes it delicious and unexpected.

Rating: 7.5/10

Spaceship Earth Cookie

Okay, let's talk about this festive cookie shaped like Spaceship Earth (one of my favorite attractions at any Disney park)! It was buttery, sugary, and had this amazing caramel-y perfection that was just incredible. The cookie itself was soft and basically flawless. Plus, it looks super cute covered in sparkling white sugar crystals and a little poinsettia.

Rating: 9/10

Ginger-Molasses Cookie

This molasses cookie looks super festive with that swirl of white icing and Christmas sprinkles (red, white, and green)! It was soft and chewy and had a great flavor. Honestly, if it had just a little less icing and a bit more ginger kick, it would be absolutely perfect.

Rating: 8/10

Gingerbread Milkshake

This mini-shake looked and tasted amazing! It was super creamy and comforting, basically the perfect December-in-Florida weather treat. It's even topped with whipped cream and a cute little star-shaped cookie. We thought it was great, but it could have used just a tiny bit more cinnamon flavor to really kick it up a notch.

Rating: 8/10

Festival Fave: Reuben Croquettes

You absolutely need to try these croquettes shown in the picture! They're crunchy on the outside, soft and savory inside, and the subtle Reuben flavor is executed flawlessly. Plus, they come with a perfect Thousand Island dipping sauce. Honestly, this was one of the best bites of the entire festival. The order comes with five, and trust me, you'll want more.

Rating: 10/10

Connections Café

Sugar Cookie

These sugar cookies are a classic! They've got that Starbucks-style thing going on: soft inside, slightly crisp on the outside, and super buttery. Plus, the cute red, white, and green star sprinkles make them look totally festive. They're solid and simple—basically a generic Starbucks cookie, but still a great go-to treat.

Rating: 6/10

Mele Kalikimaka

Coffee-Mocha Cookie

This coffee-themed cookie looks cute, especially with the three little coffee bean decorations on top of the frosting! It was chewy and tasted good, but honestly, it wasn't very coffee-forward, which was a surprise. As big coffee lovers, we definitely wanted more depth of flavor.

Rating: 6/10

Nochebuena Cocina

Crinkle Cookie

This crinkle cookie is seriously amazing. Honestly, it was perfect—chewy, with the exact right amount of icing with a fantastic cinnamon flavor. We have zero complaints. Absolute perfection!

Rating: 10/10

Odyssey Holiday Hearth

Red Velvet Cake Pop

This Red Velvet Cake Pop on a stick is super festive, dipped in green chocolate and topped with white drizzle and Christmas sprinkles (red, white, and green)! It's a classic, kid-friendly treat. It tastes good, but it's nothing groundbreaking—you know exactly what you're getting from this cake pop.

Rating: 7/10

Hard Cider Flight

First up, the BRLO Winter Hard Cider was amazing—super piney and festive, literally tasted like Christmas in a cup. It was definitely the best one. 9/10

Next was the Keel Farms Yukon Maple Bourbon Hard Cider which was way too maple-forward. The maple flavor was strong and just stuck around forever after each sip. 5/10

Finally, the bright red 3 Daughters Brewing Peppermint Hard Cider was a shocker. It tasted like straight-up toothpaste at first, but it actually got better as you drank it. You’re left with a minty aftertaste that doesn’t linger too long. 6/10

Bavaria (near Germany)

Hazelnut Linzer Cookie

The Hazelnut Linzer Cookie (the one with the cute Mickey-shaped cutout dusted with powdered sugar) was absolute perfection. Seriously one of the best Linzer cookies ever—it was so buttery, it actually reminded us of the best parts of a PB&J sandwich in cookie form. Rating: 10/10

Glühwein (Mulled Wine)

That Glühwein (Mulled Wine) Served piping hot, beautifully spiced, and just cozy and classic. It warms you right up—the perfect holiday sip! It was very wine-forward, so bear that in mind for those not “big on wine”.

Rating: 9/10

Germany Pavilion

Warm Apfel Cider with Jägermeister

This drink was fantastic! It was warm, delightful, and perfectly spiced. The cider did an amazing job of masking that typical licorice flavor, which is a huge plus. Seriously, this is a must-try whether you're a Jäger fan or not.

Rating: 10/10

American Adventure

Chocolate Cookie (American Holiday Table)

Soft, salty, caramel, and chocolate-y. Given that this had both Snickers pieces and caramel on top, this could have been overly sweet. However, the salt on top provided a nice contrast to the sweetness that prevented it from being over-the-top. If you love Snickers, this one’s for you.

Rating: 7/10

Japan Pavilion

Sushi Tree Roll

This Sushi was a much-needed savory break from all the sweets. Loving the spice level here from the sauce, and sprinkles are giving off some fun textures and a totally festive crunch. Decent Sushi, especially from a theme park.

Rating: 7/10

✡️ L’Chaim! (Between Morocco & France)

Mickey Almond Black and White Cookie

This black and white cookie is shaped like Mickey Mouse, and it looks super cute! It was definitely soft, which is a plus, but it was a little one-note with an artificial almond aftertaste that kept building with each bite. For us, this one was getting a little worse with each bite.

Rating:  5/10

Potato Latkes

Absolute perfection. Crispy, comforting, and paired with a dill sauce we’re still dreaming about.

Rating: 10/10

France Pavilion

Gingerbread Macaron

Perfection in pastry form. Ever so thin crunchy exterior that gives way to a soft and chewy interior. The Gingerbread flavor was balanced perfectly with the creamy spiced icing. We would eat one daily forever if my waistband allowed it!

Rating: 10/10

Sunshine Seasons (Land Pavilion)

Peanut Butter Cookie

Check out this peanut butter treat! It's got perfect peanut butter flavor and is soft and cake-like, which tasted amazing. Honestly, you could probably skip the icing; it didn't even need it to be delicious.

Rating: 8/10

Festive Hot Cocoa Flight (Joffrey’s – Non-Alcoholic)

Christmas Sugar Cookie Hot Cocoa – Solid, comforting, classic with festive sprinkles. 7/10

Gingerbread Hot Cocoa – Hard NO. Bitter, chemical aftertaste that lingered. Worst thing we tried all day. Don't let the smiling gingerbread man on top fool you!

1/10

Cookie Butter Hot Cocoa – Delicious and cozy with yummy biscoff bits on top. Would happily drink a full cup.

8/10

🍪 The Cookie Stroll: Worth It? Absolutely.

The Cookie Stroll was a highlight of the festival and well worth completing. The redemption prize was a pleasant surprise compared to past years and included:

  • A festive Cookie Stroll spatula

  • A cookie recipe card

  • Mini M&M’s

Fun, festive, and actually useful—Disney understood the assignment.

The Festival ends on December 30th so there is still time to squeeze in a little stroll around the World - message us to get your quote started! If you miss it, the next Festival is the International Festival of the Arts from January 16 to February 23, 2026.
